Data-driven rendering, not a prompt box.
A wave of "AI garden visualizer" apps has appeared over the last two years. Almost all of them work the same way: you type a text prompt, or upload a photo, and an AI model generates an image loosely based on that description. The picture might look nice. It is rarely an accurate reflection of a real, buildable garden design.
Dreamscape Gardens is built differently, and deliberately so.
Dreamscape Gardens is a browser-based garden design platform. It combines a tablet-friendly 2D sketch planner, a true-to-scale 3D visualiser, and photorealistic AI rendering, alongside business tools (quotes, contracts, invoicing, client management) built for landscaping companies, homeowners, and garden design students.
Most AI garden visualizer tools work from a text prompt: you describe a garden, or upload a photo, and the AI generates an image loosely based on that description. Dreamscape Gardens works the other way around. You design the actual garden first — every plant, path, structure, and material, placed to true scale using real data (plot dimensions, exact plant choices, materials, sun position, season). The AI's render prompt is generated automatically from that real design data, not typed freehand by a user. The resulting photorealistic image reflects the garden that was actually designed, not an AI's free interpretation of a text description.
No. Dreamscape Gardens is built specifically so that no 3D modelling or CAD experience is required — the 2D sketch planner and 3D view are generated automatically from a simple drag-and-drop design process.
Yes. Every garden designed in Dreamscape Gardens can be exported as a real .glb file, which opens natively in Blender or can be imported into SketchUp via its glTF importer. Users who already have 3D software experience can take the procedurally generated geometry further with their own renderer, lighting, and materials.
Yes. Dreamscape Gardens has a free tier for individual homeowners, with paid Pro and Business plans for landscaping companies that need client management, quoting, and contract tools.
Three groups: homeowners designing their own garden, landscaping companies and independent gardeners running a client-facing business, and students/coordinators using it as an educational design tool in a classroom setting.
